Event - Hamlet For Free Festival
From October 2016 – May 2017, I was part of 9 individuals chosen to be part of the Young Producer programme at the Almeida Theatre in London. We were responsible for curating a 4-day event aimed at young people around the production of Hamlet. From programming to marketing to operations and even decorating the venue, we were involved in all the decision making. The event was extremely successful and managed to engage many new young people in to the theatre. There was a huge variety of events such as acting workshops, stage-fighting workshops, spoken word workshops, Q&A with Andrew Scott, an interative performance in which the audience had to solve a murder, and many more.
