In 2016 I had the pleasure of helping Laura, the producer, with social media campaign ideas to help raise awareness of the documentary online. The Penalty is aimed to be released in 2017. A HUNGER ARTIST
Runner
This short film is an adaptation of Kafka’s short story A Hunger Artist. I was a runner on this shoot for one-day assisting the production team in the office in the morning. In the afternoon I helped coordinate the actors with the 2nd AD to make sure they were on set or in make-up at the right times.

This advert Things That Go Bump in the Night was a one-day shoot that I worked on as a runner. My tasks varied from assisting crew to meeting the child actors when they arrived to entertaining them while they awaited their turn to film.

SNOW WHITE - THE QUAY PLAYERS

Snow White the Musical Pantomime was a production by the Quay Players in London performed in December 2016. As ASM, I was responsible for helping backstage during the shows with moving set pieces, arranging props, and coordinating with cast members.

I helped on the set of this short film in 2016. As production assistant, I helped maintain continuity, stood-in for actors, helped prepare the set, and any other tasks the producers asked me to do. As my first experience on a film set, I learned a lot and had a great time!

AN IDEAL HUSBAND BY WILD(E) THEATRE
Production Assistant
Returning to Rotterdam from my exchange, I searched for other theatre societies and met a group of people wanting to start the first ever international student theatre group of the unviersity. Starting from scratch, in 3 months, we were able to adapt, cast, rehearse and put on a play attracting an audience of over 200 people. The play was a modern adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband. I was heavily involved in securing the venue, prop management, sourcing funding and assisted with marketing and catering. It was an inspiring process to see that with a few passionate and hard-working individuals, you can do quite a lot.

In 2013, during my exchange semester in Melbourne, Australia, I joined the university’s musical society as ASM for their production of RENT. As my first ASM experience, I learned a lot and discovered how much I enjoyed the creative and fast-paced environemnt. I was responsible for taking rehearsal notes, prop management, and comms assisting.
